Today ( and it is today as i type) we left the castle in Bacharach and hopped on a local train for a 50 minute ride along side the Rhine to the town of Mainz which is just before you get to Frankfurt, this is basically just a fill in stop as we fly out to Berlin tomorrow evening. Mainz is nothing much really, it has a nice old town or Aldstadt and we got some yummo Kenabs for dinner and not too many wasps which i am happy with. We are staying in a hotel room so very luxurious considering we have been staying with other people in the room for the past 6 nights. Anyway nothing much to say about Mainz, we are flying out tomorrow from Frankfurt to Berlin as it was much cheaper than the train although not much quicker. Flight leaves at 6pm so we may have to sit around the airport for a while to kill some time. We are very much looking forward to Berlin and will ne there for 4 nights so i will come back in here and tell you all about it on the 4th night.
