From Cork to the lovely Kenmare
Entry 12 of 46 | show all | print this entry |
Today we left early from Cork and headed for the small town of Kenmare, population 2000, This town is the cutest. We checked into the Hostel which is a very clean one, we had our own 2 bed bunk room. We spend the day driving around the Beara Peninsula, we saw some amazing scenery, very rugged and isolated, this is the great thing about having a car. We came back to the town in the arvo and they had a huge fair on. When would you ever see horses, cattle, donkeys, puppys, fake DVD's and a whole heap of junk all in the one street for sale. THat night we befriended a girl from New Zealand, well i would say Antartica, she is from a small Island south of the South Island called Stuart Island. we went to the pub for a couple of Pints and had an early night. Tomorrow we head for Dingle
