Hi,
Well...... we planned to hop aboard a live-aboard for 3days and 2nights of diving around the Similian Islands. However, as we were leaving our bungalow to go to the dive centre, Becky stupidly, but accidently, trapped two of Luke's fingers in the door hinge. So instead of going to the dive centre, the hotel took us to the nearest health clinic to have them cleaned and dressed. Now his fingers must be water-free until the dressing is taken off (one was unbandaged this morning, hopefully the other will be tomorrow). Still not sure what's happening on the diving front though.
We're pretty much hanging around and eating, we invested in four good books this morning! xxxxx
Soooooo, a quick update on life. The fingers are bandage free but still have to be water-free for another day
xxxxx
PS there's about 30 more photos to come, but we're going for tea!! xxxx

A Banded Shrimp and a Hermit Crab
. We've sorted the diving and booked ourselves on to a live-board. Friday morning till Sunday evening, 10 dives in total and from what we've heard we've been extremely jammy and managed to get on the end of a nine day live-aboard which is doing all the best places in the last few days!!Koh bon, koh tachai and Richelieu Rock. At these places there is a decent chance of seeing manta rays and a slim chance of seeing Whale Sharks (it is the best time of year to see them)!Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us and we'll let you know how things went when we arrive back.xxxxx

Hope you get diving soon!
That was a bit unfair, Bex, trapping Luke's fingers, we hope you showed some concern to him (and not because you couldn't go diving!) and you'll be diving soon.
As AC mentioned, a lot of your photos took me (UR)back to Bangkok with your Dad, AC and Grannie, wonderful memories. Was the traffic as bad as I remember?
Thanks for your email, Bea got through to the National Finals in Gloucester on April 19th, so we are trying to keep her fit and well for that!
Both girls are still off school with holidays and are looking forward to going back next week (no, they really are!). We can't believe that Grace has nearly done a year at WGHS. Apparently, there is an old girl on BBC's Apprentice programme, Claire Young (?), she is the daughter of Mrs Young, a teacher there (Grace doesn't know what she teaches). Do you know her?
Anyway, hope you manage to get diving soon, I'm sure it will be worth the wait, I remember snorkelling with your Dad in the Gulf of Siam, it was like swimming in a tropical fish tank.

Rain Watching
Sorry to here your rain watching rather than swimming with the fishes. Hopefully, you'll get that chance come Wednesday. Pictures are great. Looked back through them all the other day and they tell quite a story.

Diving
hope you get diving again soon and the fingers are better Luke. love AC&UD
Hello from Bea
Hi Becy, How are you doing?
Hope you are having a great time.
I wish I was there paddling in the sea it looks better then Scarborough's sea.But doesn't seem to be any rides or donkeys there.the ice-creams look delicious to eat right now.Why did you trap Luke's fingers in the door? I know it was an accident.
Did you do any April fools on Luke?
Daddy got me he said it had snowed in the night and that we could go sledging!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's a cruel man ,isn't he?
Enjoy your diving!!!
Have a nice time
Love From Bea Bop!!!!!!!!!!

Some scary looking fish..
Hi, loved the diving pics (ooh! and the new dresses!). I'm sure Steve will tell you what some of the unnamed fish are...i think theres a lot of things he's not seen before there though!....but i do recognise the lion fish...scary! The boat looked great too. Happy Thai New Year on Sunday....even if it is hampering the travel plans! I'm sure it will be a great night. Have fun. Lots of love Mum xxx
Wow, now where are my flippers and snorkel
well done you two for taking the time to load all these onto the site for us to oggle at. Glad you had no problems with the new memory card.
Think tonight i'll download them all and run them on the big tele whilst hannah, helen and I pretend to swim around the room. Sad I know!
