We had half a day in Fire, Santorini, today, so Elka, Meira and I headed to the prehistory museum while Rey caught some rays. The museum features information about the Bronze Age settlement buried in the volcanic explosion in 3500BCE. Afterwards, the three of us went browsing in the shops and took some last photos to remember Santorini. This afternoon, we head to Crete, so our next entry will be there!

Great Santorini Pix
Hi Myki and Girls,
These pictures are great- beautiful sights and smiling faces. Thanks for blogging them. I'm sure that Marv is particularly enjoying seeing his ladies all having such a great time and in good spirits. I also think that its terrific that you are not doing all the same things all the time. Traveling is so much better when each traveler can do the things they want. You are all sharing experiences which will be memories for a lifetime. You can't put a pricetag on that. Continue to enjoy and indulge yourselves. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Fira: Greece before frappes!
I'm really enjoying your travelog. And the pictures are spectacular. Don't forget that there is a good exhibit on Fira at the National Museum in Athens. I was thinking about your surprise at seeing an altar to Hercules where you least expected it. I had the same experience in Pompeii. I suspect that Hercules was more popular in the ancient world than most people realize.
It has been really hot the last few days in Northeastern Ohio. Those frappes and cool drinks I see in so many of your pictures sure look good!
I like the pace of your trip. I think that the American School should follow the one day of intense site study and one day of beach, shopping, and cool drinks schedule!
