Today me and my roommate woke up early in order to get a head start on the day. We wanted to make sure that we got pictures of all the sights that we didn't get to yesterday. This included the theatre house and the fountain in the main square. We also were able to find the internet and drop a few lines to those we love back home.

In the afternoon we decided to go to the Bergen Aquarium. The main attraction for me was the penguins. As soon as you walk in to the aquarium you have the penguin pond on your left and the seal enclosure on your right. It was very neat, of course it was not Sea World but hey what is. I think they had a total of 6 penguins in the enclosure as opposed to the hundreds at Sea World but they make due. We actually saw the penguin feeding, they are very particular those penguins they would eat the fish just because it was there.

The seals on the other hand ate everything that was handed to them. The trainers would make them jump out of the water and touch their nose to this florescent orange ball that was hanging above their pool. A fish was there reward and they never grew tired of it.

The aquarium was also equipped with a tank that you could stick your hand into and touch the star fish, fish and sea urchins. I myself think it is a bad idea, there were about five children hovering over the tank sticking their hands on every living thing. I mean that just can't be good for the fishes health. They didn't even make you wash your hands before you started touching things or after for that matter.
