On my third night of work Molly and Danni decided it was already time to come in and see how I had mastered the art of waitressing. Much to all our disappointment I was running around with my head cut off and they were left on the patio to make friends with three dutch fellows.

I met them when I was finally free and after a few drinks we took to the make shift dance floor to strut our stuff. It was already the end of happy hour ($2 beers from 10-12) and everyone was succesfully drunk, especially the well over 6 foot guy who looked like none other than Bull from Night Court. Just as I stepped in to meet up with Danni and Molly, Bull grabbed my mid-section, picked me up and turned me upside down. I was now doing a handstand with him holding my legs. Apparently he then decided he had had enough with me and just dropped me. Next was Danni whom he went for like a football tackle (well, I assume since I don't watch football)...hunched over and arms out stretched he wrapped his octopus like arms around her theighs and attempted to pick her up. But instead he kept moving forward and essentially throwing Danni across the floor. Surprinsgly though, she didn't spill too much beer.

We moved far away from Bull but every once in awhile we would notice him standing there doing a sort of "lyrical movement," pretending to scoop someone up and lift them over his head. He quickly went from Bull to Sloth from Goonies.

As we were about to leave we found ourselves standing in the empty area of the resturant and out of nowhere Bull appeared (which was a difficult feat considering how large he was). Taking on the role of "Dance Patrol" he insisted that we join him on the dance floor. Danni informed him that we would not since he had already dropped us. He grabbed a chair and sat down (making him now about our height) and declared that he wouldn't move until he had properly appologized to us. For some reason we knew this was the truth.

He first took Danni's hand and introduced himself as Lars (but of course we will still call him Bull) and appologized, turned to me and did the same thing. He began rambling on and on about feeling bad or became transfixed with our accents or something but I left for the bathroom. Upon my return back Bull was standing with one leg propped up on the table and Molly was tying his shoe. Then he traded legs and she did the next one in the same manner. She explained that she didn't have the heart to send him out to the dance floor with untied shoes...didn't want him to get hurt. And he was too drunk and too big to bend over and tie them himeself.

We left not knowing really how our night had gone so wrong. Or better yet, what we had done wrong to deserve being dropped by Bull. All we knew was that it was still early and there was another bar to visit before heading home. This one gave you teapots to drink from. A mixture of juice and alcohol in a teapot. Never a good combination.
