Since the beginning of June, we have been on the go visiting 12 countries and resting our heads on about 60 different beds (and one airport floor). We have been to "the end of the Earth" and the top of Europe, the biggest international cities and the most isolated islands. We have seen and experienced more than we ever imagined... And we have done it all together.  We are perfect travel buddies and couldn't have imagined doing it any other way.

We have finally made it to Gryon, Switzerland. This is where we plan on hanging up our backpacks - for a little while anyway.  Gryon is a small mountain village that has more years under its belt than inhabitants. It is about 900 years old and rests about 1200 metres up in the heart of the Swiss Alps. It is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. We are staying in a picture perfect century old chalet that has so much to offer. We have our own room on the top floor that looks out to the perfect mountain view (see video and pics). There is a large kitchen with all the amenities which is a relief for Megan's baking addiction (she has already begun creating masterpieces for the residents here). It has plenty of chilling out space, a large patio (with a BBQ!), a movie room, winter sport equipment for rent, and wonderful staff that know everything and then some about the area.  We will be spending the next little while just getting acquainted with our new surroundings while trying to get used to these views.

We hope you have enjoyed our little travelpod.
Although the posts won't be as frequent now, we will still be sending updates from time to time reporting on our Swiss Alps experience as well as any short trips we take in the meantime.

Miss you all!
