Once I was at Boston University, I was making my way across the campus when I stumbled upon a chowder competition. About a dozen or more contestants from different groups in the university had made different chowders and anyone was welcome to step up and try them all before placing a vote on their favorite. I hadn't had anything to eat yet, so I figured a dozen or so dixie cups of chowder would really hit the spot
After the tour of the drama department's facilities, I walked around the campus a bit more and spent a half hour relaxing on a bench in the park along the Charles River before going to the school's visitor office for a campus tour. The campus tour led us through the various other common buildings of the university and gave a little more information on the school, but I still have a number of questions I will have to call about later.
Once I had left the school, I headed back to the Boston Common and got ahold of Brock. We made plans to meet up at the common and then go for dinner at a restaurant called Fajita's and 'Ritas. After dinner, we walked around the city for a while before stopping over at the bar that inspired the television show, Cheers. The bar was originally named the Bull and Finch Pub, but they eventually changed their name to match the show. After grabbing a drink there, we headed back to their apartment for the night and watched a few random youtube videos before turning in for the night.
