Well it seems the summer is coming to an end here in Sydney. Its gone down from a nice average of 32 celcius per day to only 27 per day!! Freezing.... ha ha!! I can't believe we have only a few weeks left here before we start travelling again. It crept up so quickly. Can't wait to get going again - literally counting the days. We'll miss Sydney though. It really grows on you, there's just so much to do, although I think its the simple fact that the weather is nice all the time that makes it work.

So what have we been up to? Hmmmm.... Let me think. Well, we've been going to the beach a lot, having picnics in the domain over looking the harbour, going to the outdoor cinema , mucho drinking and eating (I've discovered the 'Sydney Stone' as a result. Chubby is my middle name), and loads of other stuff I'm sure I'll remember after I send this to you.

The outdoor cinema is amazing stuff, even if the film is shite you still have a nice view of the Opera House and Bridge in the background to look at. And the bats flying across the projector light make for cool batman sillouettes on the screen.

A lot of our time has been spent organising our trip home. We've made a complete overhaul of everything, and lucky for us our round the world ticket was flexible enough to let us make some major changes. Changing it only cost us a fraction of what it would cost to do it independently. So if any of you are ever coming over this side of the planet I'd highly recommend a round the world ticket. We've had to cut out quite a bit too, mainly because of time and money (basically we don't have enough of either!!), but we're still going to be travelling for more than 2 months and going to some amazing places, places we've always wanted to see. I won't tell you where though, you can wait until we're there to find out ;-)

Work is grand too. Just putting up with it until the last possible moment then legging it. My current job is miles away from where we live, takes an hour and a half each way, but it pays well so I don't really mind. Got myself an evening job waiting tables as well for the last few weeks here. Good craic but I just want to eat the food all the time, its gorgeous!!

The next thing happening in Sydney (there's always something on here) is the Mardis Gras festival, which is meant to be completely bonkers, and its coming up this weekend. So looking forward to that. I'll post up pics of it next week at some stage so throw an eye out for that.
