Guess who's bbbaaaaaccckkk.  It's ya main man back from Florence.  My sincerest apologies to all my fans and followers that's its taken me so long to update my blog, but this thing called "studying" that I'm supposedly overseas to do had to take priority.  It won't happen again though. Studying's overrated.  Anyways let's get to the good stuff.  We took a bus out to Florence last weekend with about 40 other people from our school.  It was so rowdy cuz everyone brought wine so by the end of the ride, everyone was either hammered or peeing their pants cuz there was no bathroom on the bus and the driver wouldn't pull over.  It was still fun though.  Once at the train station we took a quick train into the city center of Florence where we met up with Lauren Graybill, from the U, who was kind enough to let us sleep at her apartment for the weekend.  Quick shout out to Lauren thanks again.  I might have saved 40 euro on accommodation but you know where that went instead.  Me, Hayden, and Mike Plath were staying with her.  We rolled together all weekend.  We ride together.....we die together....bad boyz for life.  So we arrived at Lauren's place at about 10 at night, unpacked our stuff and started to pregame before we went out.  It was pretty fun but we didn't end up going out until about 12:30 there.  The bars don't open until midnight there and they stay open literally all night long.  We went to meet up with a bunch of people from out school at the club called Club Aster.  If your ever in Florence I highly recommend it it was unreal.  We got there ordered some drinks and started having a good time.  I met the owner of the bar who gave us deal on the birthday package which was a pitcher of drink and a bunch of fireworks and stuff.  I feel like he gave the deal to me cuz of the girls we were with and not for my ridiculous good looks, but I'll take what I can get though I guess.  After a while we went out on the dance floor to dance like American's, aka grind.  Me and Mike took a couple girls out on the dance floor and started to dance.  The girl I was with told me she had a boyfriend before we started dancing which was fine cuz dancing is harmless right?  Wrong.  She was a freak.  Danced like it was her job.  I asked "are you sure you have a boyfriend?" She said yes.  Then stupidly of me, I say "you don't dance like you have a boyfriend"......she walks away.  No regrets.  We all died laughing.  Shortly after the club died down and we headed home to get some shut eye.  The next day was one of the most legendary days of my life....
We woke up around 11 to do some sightseeing.  Lauren led us through the city and to the Biboly Gardens which is a bunch of land and garden's owned by the richest family in Italy. Pretty much anything famous in Italy is owned by the family.  The gardens were amazing but it would have been so much better in the spring when things are blooming.  We made our way to the top and looked out over the entire city.  the view was spectacular.  there's pictures on facebook or you can contact my agent for paper copies.  We really should've gotten kicked out of the gardens, we were like kids in a sandbox (not to be confused with the popular video).  We climbed on trees and made fun of the statues' genital areas.....we definitely acted like immature American's but who honestly gives a shit.  After seeing the gardens we got some pizza from a local pizzeria and then headed out for more.  Me and Hayden stopped in a local shop and grabbed a beer for the road....might have been the only ones on the street carrying beers around.  Our next stop was the Duomo.  There was no fee to get in and not a whole lot to see inside except a chapel and some beautiful architechture.  We might be going to hell though because we brought our beers inside and dropped a couple f-bombs inside the most famous church in the city.   NO regrets about it though, I'm pumped to meet the devil.  After the Duomo, we headed to the Acadamia Museo where the the most famous statue in the world is on display: The Statue of David sculpted by Michaelangelo.  Now I'm not one for art of really any kind, I mean you give me clay and a wheel and I'll make you a nice bowl but the statue of David was actually unreal.  It's about 15 feet tall and huge....except for his penis....David is lacking in that area.  I guess Michaelangelo purposely did that though so it wouldn't distract the eye from the rest of the sculpture....I'd be pissed if I were David though.  After this we went to our friend's hostel to eat and get ready for the night.  We lucked out on getting cheap alcohol we found a grocery store that sold bottles of wine for 2 euros each.  tasted sort of like piss though.  On our way back to Lauren's apartment I cropdusted this homeless guy asking for money.  I felt sort of bad about it but it was still funny.  We all got back to Lauren's and were planning on going to Space Nightclub that night, Florence's top club.  Unfortunately, some of the girls we were with drank a little too much and were messes all night so we never made it.  During pregaming at Lauren's it was unreal how annoying and loud some of them got.  Silence is golden.  Bullshit, I say ducktape is silver.  We were pretty pissed we never got to go to the club.  They really put a terd in the punch bowl.  We ended going to a bar though to meet up with Maggie Alt and Dusty and them which was pretty fun.  Hayden fell asleep standing up at the bar.  He literally took a 20 minute nap and woke up just fine.  I couldn't believe it but he rallied like a bro.  We got back to our place pretty late and went to bed.  The day itself was full of funny stories that aren't appropriate for this blog but you know what to do to hear them.
The next morning we woke up to a bit more sightseeing before heading home.  We climbed to the top of Michaelangelo's house to the highest point in Florence.  Up 400 stairs.  Honestly, it looked just like the picture.  I could have saved myself ounces of blood, sweat, and tears from the climb if I just looked at a damn book.  No regrets though.  After that we went to see another church.  I'm so sick of churches its not even funny. They are all the same.  This one, however, was pretty cool i must admit because it held the tombs of Michaelangelo and Galileo.  Some of the most famous and richest people in the world are buried inside this church.  Definitely worth seeing.  Later on we had our first Kabobs which were unreal.  That pretty much wrapped up our sightseeing so it was time for the train station.  It sort of put a damper on our travel plans when we found out the trains were on strike so we were like an hour late for our bus which had to wait for us so we didn't get home until like 11 at night but it was all good. We did see this sick Ferrari though on our way out. We had a 6 course Italian meal that next Tuesday and Mel Zoerb, AJ's girlfriends came into town last night.  It's been a good week.
So Florence was my favorite city thus far and I haven't been here three weeks yet.  It's scary to think me and Hayden are traveling for a full 3 weeks after the program.  Next week we're heading to Prague, Munich, Vienna, and Budapest for our 10 day travel break.  I don't even wanna know what that blog is going to say.  It will be unreal though.
Just as always Florence was torn UP by myself, Hayden, and our newest member of the Bad Boyz Mike Plath.  It's safe to say we pretty much own all of Northern Italy now.  Everywhere we go gets torn up.  I have yet to have a regret and I probably won't cuz that's not cool.  Peeing your pants is though.  Stay posted for the travel week blog......gon get rowdy.
