Wow! I really cannot believe where I am! Just back from breakfast of fresh milk, homemade yogurt, rice and seaweed, a lot of vegetables I don't recognize, pumpkin and eggs and boiled potatoes. Yum yum! first meal of the trip! Everyone (minasan) will meet very soon for the morning gathering from 9:10 until 9:45. Then for morning activities and work. There is so much to write! The room is shared with Yuki who is 26 and works at a hospital in Saitama prefecture, North of Tokyo. It is hard to communicate with her because she doesn't know much English. Actually I probably know as much Japanese as she does English. I woke up this morning at 6am, took a shower- felt so good!- and sharpened sickles (knives for hacking things, preferably not people) for an hour. I'll write more later but I have to brush my teeth.
