Where I stayed
America's Best Value Inn
I managed to wake up quite hot from the heater and with the noise of a plane? I couldn't work out at first if I was just dreaming but I then found out later that planes did happen to cross over the hotel.
I got up and had a shower even though I was extremely tired and hung-over. Beck was still fast asleep.
I couldn’t remember Teresse and Heathers room number to call them so I walked down there anywhere hoping they hadn’t left yet. To my luck they were still getting ready. They were surprised to see me up early to meet them.
It was hard to believe it was Christmas and that we were in Vegas on Christmas day
We had lunch at the Rainforest café. I had some nachos which was absolutely huge. Didn’t even look like I had touched my meal it was that big. Again with runny cheese!!
I was still feeling a bit crap but I soldiered on.
We stopped at Urban Outfitters. Was a pretty cool shop. I brought a cool grey cap to wear while I was in New York.
We checked out the Paris casino which was great. Once you walked in you felt as if you were outside as the ceiling and walls were painted as if you were outside.
The Venetian was really good as well. It had its own canal with a Gondola and people could go for a ride. We went to Treasure Island and the pirate show was not on and has since been canceled. We checked out the Mirage and some other casinos.
I headed back to the hotel early as I was feeling a bit tired and wanted to have enough time to get ready for diner and the show we were seeing
We walked to the Flamingo first and had diner at Margaritaville. This was not an included diner but the prices were not too bad. The food and drinks were really good.
After diner we went to the V show which was situated at the Miracle Mile shops next to Planet Hollywood casino.
The show included a free drink and was great. The show had plenty of acts and was defiantly worth the money. There was magic, acrobatics and much more. Just wish we could have taken some photos.
Cap said he would walk us to the Bellagio next so that we could see the fountains.
It was so amazing. The water fountains were in time with music and ran about every 15 minutes.
It was such a great feeling standing there and watching the beautiful fountain show on Christmas. It was the highlight of my night
We then went into the Bellagio to look around and there were plenty of Christmas decorations set out. It was defiantly one of the more fancy casinos and plenty to look at other than slot machines.
Next we headed to the New York, New York casino. Teresse was from New York so she was keen to have a look.
This Casino was really cool. There were a few lane ways with building set out as if you were in New York. There were some Pretzel and Hot Dog stands. There was a Coyote Ugly Bar, Heather and I got a frozen cocktail from there and took it outside for our walk back. We decided to get a taxi as we didn’t think it was safe walking off the strip at night.
