Andre:  Hey everybody, and a special hello to all our Ten Mercer family who we love and miss. We are getting packed up to leave Andy's amazing flat, he's been an amazing host for us. Diane and I just got back from a mid day hike up the Salsbury Crag(Skag) which I will post a picture of . It's right on the edge of town with some amazing 360 degree views. We definitely had a great time in Edinburgh and would consider living here, it's just the right size. We are catching a train back to Glasgow to hang out for awhile then hop on another Ryanair flight out to, London where we'll be for another 3-4 days before Amsterdam. Hope everyone is enjoying our blog so far, and the pics will just keep getting better and better.

Diane:  Today Andre and I were very brave.  We summited the highest peak of Edinburgh (Arthur's Seat)  without complaint, all the other americans wanted hot fudge sundaes....  We also walked right through a flock of about 35 swans that looked pretty damn mean.  Some of them tried to kill us.  Then we tried haggis, which is like ground up sheep organs, which was disgusting but Andre ate the whole thing anyways.  Looking forward to new adventures.  Hope I don't die.  Hope all is well back home "and stuff"  love, Diane

Keep up your news - it's so cool!
Hi Andre and company: Just wanted you guys to know that we have been checking on your blog every other day! It is so great to be able to follow your trip. I thought you guys would love London. It is one of my favorite cities. I lived there for 2-3 months for several times!! Was I lucky or what? I was your age when I did that too. But I didn't get to see London Eye as it wasn't there 20 years ago!!
Yes, the museums are the best. I used to go on the weekend and spend all day in just one museum at a time. Then I like to go to Portabello Street to go shopping. You can get lots of Bargain there. I am glad you guys loved it there. Can you share your schedule for the next week? Europe will be fun too! Ellen
