We headed out of Jacksonville on the never-ending I-10.... Good God. Longest, most boring stretch of interstate in Florida.
Upon finally leaving I-10 and turning into Alabama, we decided that risking our lives for just a hot minute would be a brilliant idea.
We went for a stroll down some railroad tracks... and then took a little jog through some snake infested high grass up the hill to the side of the highway which (besides us) is only driven by semi-trucks OR semi-trucks carrying houses on their backs..
After running for our lives for a spit second, we drove through the backwoods of Alabama for a bit and discovered (from a billboard) that "if you don't go to church, the devil will get you." Watch out kids.... scary stuff here. (We remained inconspicuous in our car for most of that stretch). Unfortunately, no evidence of this life lesson was obtained......
A couple (namely 5) hours later, we arrived in Birmingham, stuffed our faces and started on this sweet little blog.
Tune in tomorrow. We should have some pretty good stories from Memphis :)
