I woke up extremely early this morning, to see the Sjökvists off as they left on their trip. I was under the impression that they wouldn't be getting back untill after I had left to go home, so I thought that this was going to be the last time that I saw them for a while. I was understandibly very sad, but after they left it was still quite early so I decided to go back to sleep for a few hours before decided what my plan for the day would be.

After waking up a few hours later, I decided to get ready for the day. It had rained over the past few hours, and when I opened my window to let some air in and turned away, I heard a very disgruntled "meow' behind me. It turned out that Molly, the cat, had been stuck outside in the rain, and she was not happy. I let her in, and jumped around trying to stop her from drying herself off on my legs.

I eventually walked over to Carina's, in the rain, and from there decided to bike through the rain to the grocery store for some ice cream cake. It was a little cold, and I returned quite wet.

That evening Carina and I went to a friends to try a Finnish style sauna. This involved sitting in a very hot sauna, untill you got too hot and then jumping into the body of water that the sauna is near by to cool down. The sauna was very hot, hot to the point that breathing was kind of hard. But jumping into the cold water after sitting in the extremely hot sauna was very exiliarating, and apparently good for your immune system. I really enjoyed it, much more than I enjoy just sitting in the sauna. I would love to try it in the winter, when you have to drill holes in the ice to have some water to jump into. It would be a real shock to the system, going to such temperature extremes. It was very relaxing, something I really needed after getting back from a trip and going on another the next day.

Tomorrow to Gotland!
