We arrived at our accommodation in Vegas around 2pm, we are staying at Harrah's Hotel. We quickly went into our room, got changed super quick and ready to party for a massive night out on the town! A group of our contiki tour friends met in the lobby at 4.30 and cruised around our hotel casino. Drinks were pretty cheap so it was great but it's so annoying that people can smoke inside here- the air is so thick and gross! At 6pm our whole tour met at the coach ready for a tour of the city. Adrian, our driver, took us to the famous 'Vegas' sign where we had a whole group photo and then took us along the strip where we saw Paris, New York, Egypt, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Trump towers and much more
After our tour we went and had dinner- Italian tonight! And finally some wine! Wa hoo! After dinner the coach took us to the wedding chapel where Bon Jovi got married- we all went inside and took a seat! Next minute, Elvis arrived and started singing. He called up Ally and Michael (another couple on our tour who we just love) and started their wedding ceremony. It was so awesome because they were talking about getting 'fake married' in Vegas anyway! Haha They are some our closest friends on contiki so I recorded the whole thing and it was just so exciting!
After this awesome surprise, we got into limos which took us around the city where we could all just drink copious amounts of champagne and enjoy being together. It was so fun and the best way to see Vegas! Once our ride ended, we were taken to a club called X-cess. We were given VIP entry and free drinks. So good! The club itself was amazing with girls dancing on the stereos, an awesome DJ, great vibe and incredible decor. At one point, confetti even fell from the ceiling onto the dance floor. INCREDIBLE!
We had a massive night and didn't get home until 4am... So worth it though! We had another fantastic night in the USA.
Tomorrow, in Australia, it is Christmas Day. It's going to be tough not being with my family and friends but I'll be thinking of them- even more than usual!
