Traveling to Providence RI
I thought Boston was South of the Cape Cod area but I was WRONG! It is north and we are now heading West to Providence, Rhode Island and then we will figure out what we will do with what time we have left on the East coast. We fly down to Monivideo, Uraguay on Monday 7th November from JFK airport. We still have tickets to go to the Guggenheim museum and the metropolitan art museum so we may try to go in Sunday afternoon. I also want to walk over one of the bridges too, so we will see how we go.

We are only 40 minutes away now. Andrew is driving as I slept funny and my neck and centre of my shoulders are out, so I have pulled out the iPad to write a post to copy and paste later. Andrew loves the names of places ie.Acushnet, Mattapoisnet, Pocaset ... Shawmut, Rehoboth, Warren, Seekonk, Pawtucket

Now passing New Bedford, an old whaling town. I was just looking at the map and Rhode Island is not even an island,Andrew is giggling at me. We just passed a sign that said the Lizzie Borden house was one of their attractions and I just had to explain to Campbell the story of Lizzie Borden (she took an axe to her religious parents back in the 1800s).

Did I already mention that I love the colours of autumn over here, it is so pretty,I guess so is Tassie, but everything here is on such a bigger scale. On the east coast because it so more established and older than the west coast the towns are smaller but so much more closer together and of course the cities and towns just run in together, and don't get me started on shopping and the sizes and quantities you can buy!!!!

Just finished looking around downtown Providence. The founder's name is Roger Williams who was an English Clergyman who wanted to establish a community where all people were welcome and able to worship how they liked "according to their conscience". We looked around their State Building, which is a self supporting marble dome building like ...

Andrew has noticed we are near the home of his favorite show Ghost Hunters, based in Warwick ,RI. We can't find a mcDs to go on the "internets" to find their address to do a fan stalk. But we just spotted a water tank landmark that has "Warwick" on it that they have on their in their opening credits. He is happy we got a photo of the water tank .

We are now on the way to Charleston, RI which is right on the water. Currently driving through Greenwich,RI. No matter where we are there is always not just one but numerous "Dunkin Donuts" stores along with the other donut stores, in quick succession. I think they love their donuts and police? Speaking of donuts, " kids pass some forward"!! Andrew just suggested that maybe they have them in an area so the police will come to that area?

We just passed the turn off to Marthas Vineyard, it's a shame our friends the "Kennedys" don't know we are in town!! Also just passed "Quahog" for anyone that watches "family guy", thanks Campbell.

Ended up in New Haven, Connecticut at the Econolodge, all the Yale parents are in town for a parent's visit. Hmmmm a bed.

The internet connection here is slow so I will have to upload photos at the next stop.
