Apparently we have an unusual weather pattern dumping snow in south-east New York. The news said it hasn't been this way in October for 60 years. At least we got out before we were snow-bound.

Palmyra is cold and damp at present. It is full of old homes sporting red, white and blue drapery. I don't know what the occasion is, however in 1790, a revolutionary war general, settled this area and started the town.  Perhaps, it is perpetual patriotism.

Today, we are off to Niagara Falls. Not my idea of fun in the cold but apparently (according to my family) a 'must do' because we are so close.

We went to Cumorah. I overturned every rock I could see. The grounds manager chased me with a rake. The kids were horrified, but I got away. (He was old).

Will write soon.

Hahaha, I can just see you overturning rocks. Did you find anything of interest?
