It's is day 12 of the tour. In the morning we drove to Pergamon. There is an impressive site of an ancient Kingdom. We had stopped at a roadside cafe for a drink and then driven on to the site but Denise had stomach cramps from the full cream milk so we didn't start the tour. The people in the market area where very good to us. They made Denise a Oregano tea which was to settle her stomach. We sat the with them and I think that this was better then seeing the ruins, it gave us a feel of the people. Anyway spent heaps there to show how great full we were and when the rest of the tour caught up Denise was fine. No more coffee for her. From the market we could see the Temple of Emperor Trajan and the theater, and the library which is said to have held over $200,000 books. We then drove for around 2.5 hours to visit Troy. on the way the views we amazing, you just drive along and around the next bend is a town of 10,000,000 people, we drove over large mountains and we more than ready to leave the bus when we reached Troy where we saw more ruins of nine cities built on top of each other and also the Hugh wooden horse. We got to our motel around 5 and mum and dad we cannot seem to get credit on our phone yet maybe tomorrow. Tomorrow it is up bright and early 5o'clock as we will be catching a ferry across the Dardanelles Straits to Anzac cove. We are all very excited and practiced tonight what we Aussies would say when asked by the Canadians, English and Yanks what it was about. The view from our hotel room is amazing as is the room.
