Hey all,

Arrived in Airlie and the heat is stifling. Seriously - no air. Great wee town though.

Only staying here one night before heading out to the Whitsunday Islands for a 3 day 2 night sailing adventure on board the Pride of Airlie. Can't wait.

Took a look around the place and ended up in a Didgeridoo shop. We weren't even going to get one here (we were going to wait until Cairns) but these guys custom make it for you and air mail it home to anywhere in the world for free!!!! So of course we were interested. We were even able to design it ourselves so we chose to tell the story of our journey through OZ. You'll see it when we get home - it's amazing. Won't be delivered until the first week in December and we really can't wait to see it. We have to come back in 2 days time for lessons :). Had a bit of a go on it last night and Jay (of course - bore) was able to get it right away. Tracy on the other hand made farting sounds - no surprise there then. But it was good fun.

YHA here is really nice - got a double room with TV, fridge and bathroom all for only $18 (7.50 to you) - think the man did himself in. Had to organise our bags and stuff for the Whitsunday trip as you're only allowed a small carry on bag. Watched TV and vegitated for the rest of the night.
