Arrived in Christchurch at lunch time so we sat in the town square in the sun watching chess.

Got the bus out to the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. This place was brilliant! They had loads of cool animals as well as some boring ones (i.e. COWS - eeeeuuuuggghh). We were able to feed the animals too which was good (when we say we - we mean Jay - Tracy just threw the stuff at them). We were here for most of the day coz the place was huge. It also had a kiwi sanctuary so we were able to see some kiwis in a sort of natural environment. We couldn't take pictures again coz it affects their eyesight.

Went to Bailey's Bar that evening for drink and pool.

Because we were getting our flight (to Melbourne) at 6.30 am the next day we decided to give sleeping in a hostel a miss and go directly to the airport. This made financial sense but was a bit of a nightmare.
