Narooma which has been our home for the past 3 days is known as the Nature Coast because of its beaches, spectacular blue lakes, inlets and rivers and also magnificent mountain scenery.
Our caravan park was on the bank of the Wagona Inlet, a great vantage point to watch the many fishing and cruise boats coming and going.
One of the most amazing sights we have witnessed were the soldier crabs heading for the dry sand, trying to stay ahead of the incoming tide. It was like a blanket of moving sand, there had to have been millions.
Tuross Head just 20 minutes north of Narooma is another great place to spend the day. The lakeland scenery is breathtaking. Another place we would love to visit again.
The weather has been lovely, again cold at night but beautiful days. Today I packed all our shorts away, a bit sad about that but we have had fantastic weather for nearly all our trip so we can't complain... but we will.
