After a great stay in Robe we awoke to light rain, nothing to worry about, it is still warm and we are on holidays, so who cares about a bit of misty rain. The mist held off a little while we packed and morale was high as we headed off for Victor Harbor. Light rain continued throughout the day but it was a bit scary going through Strathalbyn when it started pouring, the roads were flooded with the signs saying "roads subject to flooding" and they certainly were! We didn't know if we were going to get through, but of course we did and  finally arrived in Victor Harbor. We heard on the news later that Adelaide had recorded the most rain in 26 years.
Tomorrow we are heading for Adelaide, possibly Gleneg or somewhere around that area.
Have to say THIS IS THE LIFE!!!! Car overheating, floods, still beats working. Love it.

Hi Wendy and Ray, the blog looks great. Good to see you got the car sorted out. Hope you enjoy the adventure like we did and take your time. All the best Phil.

Hi, loving the blog keep it up. You must've felt a bit silly sitting outside Coleraine thinking that you may end up on the back of a tow truck on the first day of your trip. Very funny start to your trip!
