I am at Peaceful Bay, after an overnight stay in Walpole and have decided to rest here a couple of days as there is a beach a short walk away that the dogs can have a good run and play on and Luana a swim... as for Lola, well, she is still petrified of water.
Other than the walks to the beach there isn't much else to do, but relax and enjoy the sounds of the waves come crashing down on the foreshore and the frenzy of the flies at the screen on the back door...God I hate flies!
After two days at Peaceful Bay it's time to hit the road again
It's off the main road and onto a suspension shattering, crockery rattling, 'shake your booty' corrugated dirt road for 8kms to reach Conspicuous Beach, which of course is in another National Park and as I had subjected the van to a thumping I wasn't going to sacrifice another opportunity to see this glorious site because dogs are not allowed.
So I parked the van as far away and as inconspicuously as possible... and off I went on my 300m hike.
I'm getting rather good at these hikes and walks, and I don't run out of breath as quickly as when I first started the trip. But I won't be doing any marathons in the future either...small walks and hikes will suffice thank you!
Well it was worth the hassle as you can see from the photos, just magic.
Back over the dirt road and off to the Circular Pool and then off into the forest and the Giant Tingle Tree the oldest living Eucalypt in the world
p.s. There are more photos than usual in this entry as I jumped around for a few days and I am still trying to 'catch up'
