Outside packing up the van ready for the next leg when suddenly, this almighty yelping noise pierced my ears. What the hell is going on? Lola is yelping in agony and I couldn't figure out why as she was in the van. I picked her up and she just kept on yelping. She seemed to be suffering from something in or around her ear. A man from across the way came over and started looking at her and said that she had probably had something in her ear, but we couldn't see anything. After a few minutes she settled down, but was very languid. There was no vet in town so I decided to move on and hope it wasn't anything too serious.

I stopped off at Lake Thetis to see what Stromatolites where...well you see for yourselves in the photos. Then it was up to the lookout for more info and photos.

From here it was my last chance to probably see the last of natures marvels that W.A has to offer...The Pinnacles.
Dream shattered as the sign quickly turned it into another nightmare! NO DOGS allowed.
With an on the spot fine and my luck...I didn't want to take the chance, so I will have to be content with a photo of a brochure...

So, I just kept driving and found a few interesting things along the way to take photos of.

Lancelin, and time for a lunch break, driving in to towns they have signs that let you know what the police are targeting. Oops! Lights are the target in this town and one of mine is smashed. Oh well lets potter on in and see what awaits me. I pulled into the parking lot and what do I see? Yep, two officers having lunch at an outdoor cafe. I just looked the other way and decided to park elsewhere. Luck was on my side again.

After Lancelin I decided to change direction and head inland to Gingin where I stayed for the night.
