And a bag of ice as the fridge wasn't coping on 12 volt with all this heat. I'm not partial to drinking warm water and believe me I have been drinking up to 2 litres a day.
The history of the town is amongst my photos
Next port of call was in Larrimah, but it doesn't show up either on the map so Birdum was the closest I could find. This a an old pub in a town of about 30 people in the middle of nowwhere. The owner has his own Zoo which you can walk around free of charge. There was a snake section, but I quickly bypassed that...This was my lunch break and as I hadn't really eaten anything substancial for days decided to go the "steak sandwhich". Being a pub I naturally thought it would be something special. Wrong, it was just a piece of very, very thin meat between two slices of bread, no more no less, gotta love the country prices, $8.50.
