I am now 'camped' at Cardwell beach and the old trees and
stumps that were washed up on shore during cyclone Yasi can still be seen
decorating the shoreline. They have however put in new trees and tables and
spruced up the area making it a very pretty area for a stop.

As you can see from the photos Cardwell is well and truly on
the mend and is looking healthy again. The town is a buzz with people and
"camp alley" is full of freeloaders...just like me lol. The ocean at
your back door, the fresh sea air, beautiful sunny mornings...just need to win
lotto and I could live like this forever... no work, no hustle, no bustle just
the freedom of living each day as it comes.
