Taylor's Beach. Mmmm
do I risk the 19kms only to find out there is no such thing as a BEACH at the
end...Thankfully as you can see from the photos ( I hope) not only a
beach...but a small sleepy town at the end of the world...it is absolutely
glorious. Not a car to be heard just the sounds of the birds and the slapping
of the water on the rocks below. Wow! This is bliss. Absolutely buggered though...had
to drive about 45kms today, hahahah!
Luana as usual had a ball running along the beach and racing
into the water..."crocodiles in this area sign" was a bit of a worry
After a good night's sleep I walked along Taylor's Beach
this morning for about an hour and feel a little sunburnt, facing is burning. I
also have, a 'truckie’ sunburn, you know
brown below the T-shirt line, white above, this of course is on the right arm which
is exposed most of the day.
I didn't want to leave Taylor's Beach, until I stopped off
at the local shop to buy something for dinner tonight. Shop owner told me I was
very lucky to have survived the night without being fined... $150. I was in awe
at the beauty of the inlet when I arrived last night I honestly didn't see the
sign 'no camping, campervans, tents or other. Oops! So, I decided not to push
my "luck" as it hasn't been on my side for quite some time.
