The driving experience deepened there as we fully that although we had 2 maps it didn't mean that we knew the way!!!
We thought we were on the right track but after wondering around for one hour we arrived at the end of the road... there was literally nowhere to go!!! well there was a pretty temple obviously!!
We were supposed to get to around Amed for the sunset but thanks to our detours it didn't happen but we also got to enjoy other things like a water palace with lots of people running around it and chilling, it was very pretty.
On the way to Amed, we passed many little villages where life seemed to revolve around a few houses with a little food stall and where all the kids were coming out of school. After the sunset, it was so dark! All we could see were a few fires around the hills...
The town of Amed itself is very nice, quite small but seems to be very popular with divers. We decided to follow the trend and went snorkelling!! it was great! There is soo many fishes under the sea!!!You would not believe it unless you went! We were only 20m from the shore and they were everywhere , not scared of us at all. It was amazing!!! the photos are still in my underwater camera for proof but they will come!!!
