Lost in the Rain - July 5th

What up?
So here I am in Lijiang in Northwest Yunnan province. The reason I came here was to see Tiger Leaping Gorge which is why I don't have much time right now because my bus leaves oh so soon.
I met this guy who suggested hitch-hiking across Canada with a friend but seeing as how I overblew my budget in Dali, I hitch-hiked from Dali to Lijiang. Sure alone is the same as with a friend, sure China is the same as Canada. Needless to say, I'm here safetly after a terrifying ride through the mountains and on budget again (hurray!)
It was raining all day yesterday and considering I didn't get dropped off at any reference point, I walked around umbrellaless for quite a while until I found a place to say. It put me in a miserable mood but one that I have since recovered from.
I really must get off to that bus...
