The morning today called for brekky with Jenny's friends from last night and we went to this sweet gourmet burger restaurant so I obviously got a gourmet burger. The first proper good burger since leaving home. Jenny was leaving Toronto today to head home to Ottawa so she said bye to her friends at brekky and just as we started leaving the restaurant it started fluttering with snow. The first bit of the good white stuff i'd seen falling from the sky since Japan. Such a beautiful thing snow is. Because she loves it so much we went and did some shopping before jenny left and then she got herself on her plane to Ottawa.

Kellie was nice enough to let me sleep in her little apartment with her and Alex until her boyfriend Chris and his brother Matt got back from the States so after Jenny left I went to kellies and moved in. We sat around for a while in the warmth and then went to the Ripley's aquarium. I said I would only go if they had polar beards and/or orcas, it turns out they had neither but it was still pretty nice nonetheless. They had lots of sharks and stingrays and lots of aquatic life from both the northern and southern hemispheres.

We were getting hungry and didn't want to eat at the overprices aquarium so we went to a sportsbar in town called Shoeless Joes and we watched the Toronto vs Ottawa hockey game (the first I had really paid attention in). The pub has a deal that on every Saturday night when Toronto win, everyone gets a free burger for their next visit so that ensured we were gonna be back for sure.
