We all decided that we wanted to go up to the top of the CN tower as it seemed to be the thing people did around here. We met up with Alex's sister Kellie at the bottom of the tower and bought our tickets. We first went up to the part where you just get a big lookout over Toronto which was really nice and took some photos of the views
. Then we went up to the top platform which had a glass bottom floor right about the Ripley's aquarium and stood on that freaky thing for a while. Next stop was to watch a 3d movie about the making and inspiration behind the Boeing 787 dreamliner. What this had to do with the CN tower, or even Canada in general, I don't know. The movie was pretty silly, but the 3d wasn't badly done. Final activity in the tower was the simulator which was a movie about this fake hybrid tree that some fake scientists bred and it is the savior of all the world's problems. Alex and Kellie both got motion sickness so we made out way back to the hotel and had a bit of a nap.
The evening consisted of meeting up with Jenny's friends for drinks and dinner. We had a few drinks at the first bar then decided that it wasn't cold enough inside so we stepped out into the cold and walked to another bar. It was bitter outside, almost unbearable in our clothes so we called it a night and we were all in bed by 2
Jenny and I Woke up and I gave Alex a call. Finally after 4 months of travel I get to be reunited with a familiar face :) We went out for brekky with him at a place called eggspectation and as you can guess the items on the menu were stupid puns for eggs. Eggcelent, eggceptional, eggcetera eggcetera. We took a walk to the Eaton Centre which is like a big department store thing that sells just about everything you could possibly need. It just so happened that I needed some new clothes for this arctic weather so I got a few new jackets and jumpers.
