Well, some good news to report since my last post.  I appear to be over this infection, caused by either a bacteria or fungus, no one seems to know since the specifics are still unclear still but, in either case, I am ready and able to travel.  First stop is Ft. Lauderdale on Wed.  I will meet up with my dad, brother, and extended family for a few days and spend time with him before my bigger departure.  Here is a picture of a fungus.
