Hello and welcome to my first blogging entry.  As the title suggests, things are already off to a rough start.  What started as a fever and lack of appetite over a week ago has lead to 7 pounds of weight loss, countless medical exams, including a trip to the ER on Sunday morning and two visits to a Gastro specialist, and plenty of questions.  Currently I am waiting on test results but am slowly getting back to eating small meals, as the chest pain is subsiding.  Last night, Stephanie, aka 'Ghostie', came by to visit, and so that helped put me in better spirits.  Hope that I have some better results to report later.  Also above is a picture of where I've been hanging out for the past week, my favorite room in the house, the "room above the garage".
