Well I cant believe Ive left latin america and Fran.... I felt so sad,..but so excited to be seeing my old friends in Australia and spend christmas and new years with them .. After a long flight with the only movie to watch being the so so so so crap Mama Mia I was happy to arrive.  The sun was shining, and i instantly felt strange. Everyone was speaking English and on the drive into Manly where I was staying I noticed everything was so clean and new.

My surrogate sister Karen had taken the day off work to meet me at Michelles house.. they had made a sign for me and balloons.. it was amazing. Michelle and jake were kindly letting me stay for 2 months here and their place was beautifal, looking out over Manly beach.

For me Sydney was like a break from travelling, having my friends around me, my own room and not moving every 3 days was great. I just wanted to see everyone and relax. I had borrowed a guitar, had some portuguese to study and the beach on my doorstep.

Sydney was so clean, not busy and modern, quite different to where I had been the last 8 months
I had so much fun leading up to christmas, we went to Global gathering festival , the Zoo, saw the sights, enjoyed the beach and generally had a right laugh !
