My travels start in mexico city, the 5th largest city in the world I think. I depart the plane feeling very nervous, never been on my own before and only been on a plane for the first time 6 years ago... but also excited and proud having made it and throwing myself into challenging myself.

I leave the airport and try my first bit of spanish to get my taxi which seems to go ok and get to my hostel. Within minutes a girl says hello and join her and mates for a drink on the roof, wicked!.. now i feel more relaxed and arrange to site see the next day with some of them.

In mexico city I visit the palace and cathedral with a guide and learn some of the vast history that makes mexico, from the aztec and their beliefs of fertilty, earth wind and fire, to the revolution and how many changes it went through....
...then after so , much culture go out with the people i met and drink lots of rum.
