The 1st night in Stuttgart was the toughest night of the trip.  We rolled into town about 3am and the hotel would understandably not let us check in.  So we drove around and and ended up parking on a street near the hotel.  The funny thing was that, at 3am, it seemed like a fairly empty street, but as the sun came up, we found out it was a main artery into and out of town.  All 8 of us slept in the van that night.  This time it was warm because we left the engine running, however, it was way too crowded to get any sleep at all.  I was miserable, we all were, and as the sun came up and the traffic started shaking the van, Nick and I decide to climb out, walk to a gas station and get some coffe and something to eat.  I was as tired as ive ever been, miserable, hungover, yet i couldnt sleep..not in that tin can.
However, every dark cloud has a silver lining.  And the silver lining was the moment we returned to the van, and everyone slept, Nick and I witnessed the highlight of the tour.  Snowman, who was in the driver seat suddenly started to tilt forward and in a dead sleep, bounced his head off the steering wheel sounding the horn and temporarily waking up himself and everyone else in the van as well.
We witnessed the whole thing, and Nick responded with "Did that just really happen"?  I laughed for 2 days straight.  After a horrible night of no sleep, it was just what I needed, a good laugh
We finally checkin into the hotel around noon and slept all day.  The next day was the show in Stuttgart, I finally got the sleep I needed and felt much better that afternoon.
We all were a little delirious in Stuttgart and that's when we decided that the Shakeface needed to happen.  The shakeface is when you shake your face as fast as you can back and forth and someone snaps a photo.  You can only do it 2 or 3 times before you want to puke and your neck starts hurting.  I spent the rest of the time in Stuttgart and Munich with neck and headaches from all of the Shakeface fun
