We left Amsterdam mid morning and made our way to Paris. The drive took all day and we hit Paris right around rush hour. My first impression was that i already hated the place, what was the big deal about Paris? We went to the band's hotel and I jumped in a cab for a 10 minute ride over to my hotel. We met up about an hour later for dinner, It was difficult to find a place that we felt comfortable in and could understand the menu, but we finally came across an Italian place to eat.....it was perfect.
After dinner and some wine, Pistol and i decided to take a walk to the Eiffel Tower. Why not see it at night-time. But on the way there, we came across one of the best things about Paris...the Automatic Bike Rental Machines with lines of bikes ready to go....
We ran back to the hotel for another drink and I told Pistol to go wake everyone up, we were going for a midnight Tour De France. The next day was show day. We spent some time getting Joe some new drumheads and seeing parts of the city. By now my opinion of the city had completely changed, It actully is a beautiful city, an amazing place with great food and great scenery. It's just that it happens to be filled with Piss-heads.
