This morning we woke up, ate breakfast, finished packing, and headed off to Zion adventures. We rented dry bags and hopped in the van to ride up to Chamberlains Ranch. It was about an hour and a half drive to the trailhead. Once we were there we reorganized our packs to make them waterproof. The first couple of miles were on the dirt trail. Not too far into the trail, we were crossing streams and treading through water. At first, the water was cold, but then it warmed up throughout the day. After a lot of hiking, we finally found our campsite #7. We set up camp, cooked, and spent time by the river throwing rocks at the cliffs and skipping them on the water.
