Last night we all were constantly woken up by strong gusts of wind almost blowing the tent over. Even with the wind, we got a decent amount of sleep. This morning we woke up, ate breakfast, and headed off to the North Dome trailhead. Our original intention was to hike up Half Dome, but we didn't get our permit. We applied in February and every day we could while we were in the park. Our luck may come to us when we try getting the permit for the Subway in Zion National Park. The trail was 4.4 miles to the summit and it only took us about two hours. On the summit, we ate lunch, took pictures, and watched the people summit half done with binoculars. After a while, we headed back to the trailhead and drove into Yosemite Valley one last time. After buying the last of our souvenirs, we headed back to the campsite. We searched for showers for about an hour, and with no luck, we went back to the campground. We ate dinner, make a fire, and eventually fell asleep.
