This morning we woke up, ate breakfast, packed, and organized everything. Since we came out of the backcountry in the North Cascades we had not put everything in its correct location. Once we reattached the bubble, packed the car, and checked out of the hotel, we drove across town to the Coit Tower. It's another observation tower that looks over the town towards the bay bridge. We didn't go up in the tower; we just looked around the bottom edge of it. After that, we drove to the Twin Peaks to see the city during the daytime. After that, we drove out of San Francisco on the bay bridge. It's just as massive as the golden gate bridge and on top of that, it had two decks. On our drive out, we drove by the Giants stadium and the piers going along the bay. We also drove by an original clock/building that survived the Great San Francisco Fire. On our way to Yosemite, we stopped to eat and get gas. That was about it. When we got to the park, we drove up to Hetch Hetchy and looked at the dam. The dam supplies San Francisco with 20-30 percent of its water and the dam is gravity fed from about 150 miles away! We arrived at our campsite a little later and set up camp. There are about 80 campsites and every one of them seemed full. We set up, cooked dinner, and went to bed. I'm excited to start sleeping in the tent again, I just wish people would respect the quiet hours...
