This morning we woke up, ate breakfast, and headed out on the town. We drove to the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. We walked halfway across the bridge and back. The bridge is a whole lot farther than it looks. The bridge has a bike lane and a walking lane. The wind on the bridge is brutal. With nothing to block the wind, it messes up your hair fast. We could see Alcatraz and a part of the city. After walking back to the car we headed off to the Meir woods. It was similar to the Redwoods National Forest, except better put together. It was about a two-mile loop through the park with extremely tall redwoods. We had a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch that had been featured on some TV show and it was really good. After that, we drove to Sausalito to look at the sailboats and houseboats. They were both very impressive. When leaving Sausalito, Evan accidentally back into a French man that had a rental car. It all got settled. On the way back into San Francisco, we drove across to a vista point where we could look down and see the golden gate bridge. It was the same view that you see on postcards. We then went back to the hotel to rest before getting dinner. That night, we walked to china town and ate dinner at some Chinese place. It was okay. Their menu had all kinds of exotic choices, but we just ordered something that was safe. When walking back to the hotel we happened to catch the city lights at night. We then went to bed.
