This morning we woke up, ate breakfast, and packed the car. We had a long drive ahead of us. One stretch of the road was so curved that the speed limit was 15 mph. We drove on Highway 1 and the views were spectacular! We stopped and touched the Pacific Ocean and ran around in the sand. We passed a gas station today that had gas for $4.75 a gallon. No thanks. We also drove by some vineyard in wine country. The vines were on rolling hills and they had signs for different types of grapes that they were growing. When we arrived in San Francisco we drove in on the Golden Gate Bridge. Pictures don't do it justice. The bridge was longer and taller than I thought. The toll to come into the city was 6 dollars and it was well worth it. We found our hotel downtown and unpacked the entire car. The guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and told us where to go, where not to go, and what to see while in town.
