This morning we woke up, ate breakfast, packed up camp, and drove to the other side of the glacier. We wanted to pick up some last minute souvenirs. Also, my dad sent me a package to the post office in Apgar to pick up and I'm glad I did! It was full of snack food, health items, a Walmart gift card, and a note! Thanks, Dad! We then headed on to Spokane, Washington. For lunch, we stopped and ate at an A&W. I didn’t really like root beer, but now I do! We crossed into the Pacific Time Zone. It's different being 2 hours behind everyone back home. We got to Spokane around 6 pm. We went shopping for food for the next two weeks and washed clothes for the first time. I forgot how good a clean pair of socks felt. For dinner, we ate at a panda express that gave us way too much food. We took a shower for the first time in 3 or 4 days and prepared for the next day. Tomorrow we drive to the North Cascades National Park. We're going to be camping in the backcountry for 4 days. Watch out bears!
