Originally i was just heading straight from Rome to Istanbul by plane but i thought it wouldn't be that bad to spend a few days in Athens waiting for nic and then catch a nice over night sleeper train to istanbul. Well that was the plan except i didn't figure on a little thing called
school holidays and the fact that the train was booked out for weeks. CRAP After some quick net searching; finding that planes were very expensive i reluctantly
decided to catch a 20 hr bus to Istanbul which i will be catch in a few hours.
Anyways I'm CSing in Athens and have had a great time with my host Thelma eating Greek food and seeing some ancient things
that Greek is famous for. In my two days here Ive seen some amazing things including the acropolis and the archaeological museum
which you can see the best bits of both in the picture section.
