Its always a great felling to have someone meet you at the airport and drive you off to your hotel and thats what happinined at Venice International, except our driver was our cousin and we were off to a little village in north east italy to have a holiday from our trip for a week. And of course eat our fare share of italian grub.

I had been here before a few years ago again with my mother and not much had changed, old men are still getting around on bikes, the pub is still there and the medium age of he town seems to be about 60. What has changed is that my cousin has had a kid so many hours have been spent playing with her (mostly in between eating wonderful italian food cooked up by our relitives (for our first for example we dined on pheasant and rabbit). Another great food experience was going to the local cheese shop and coming back with about 5 kilos of the mosty mazing cheeses ive ever eaten - though after seening how much cheese is eaten here i can understand these huge purchases

While we are certainly far away from what would be considered the normal tourist attractions Ive been taken to some amazing churches and viallages that I guess no foreigner has been too, however it has been given the oppurtunity to see how a typical italian lives which has been the best experience this last week (though the food is a VERY close second).

Lastly, cause i now they read this,  i would just like to say a big thanks to you all for letting christina and myself stay with you and for  showing us around
