After 3 days in turkmen i was ready to leave - there really was not much to do- so i grabbed a share taxi to turkmenabat - a city by the boarder and headed off - By some freak of luck in the front seat was a lady who could speak English so we had a great talk about politics, money changing (in turkmen you have to change US at the black market) and her job - she was an engineer making  good money - $200 a month.

Due to a bridge being broken I had the pleasure of turkmen train for 250 manet (about 2 cents) and got to meet what i think was a turkmen hooker who spoke English - again an experience one had to have. Then i meet her 'uncle'  who drove me to the boarder and then i had deal with the same crap again - empty your bag, where did you go etc
