Just a quick note:
Well, we made it to Prague, and it only cost us an extra surprise 20euro we didn't count on, because apparently Czech Republic isn't covered under the Eurail pass, assumedly because it isn't in the EU yet. Also, it took us about 2 hours to get from the train station, 2 stops on the metro and about 150 feet to our new hostel. Impressive huh. Well in our defense, we didn't have a good map and uh, we repeatedly chose the wrong way and took something like 8 lefts instead of one right. So, short story, we made it, and it looks like this hostel will be much more fun than the last, as there's more english speakers, fewer german middle schoolers, and...BONUS...instead of getting split up for two of our three nights, and having to switch rooms every day, we get to all stay in the same bunk room the whole time. And we get free breakfast AND it's the cheapest hostel we've found. I love this city! And I actually was able to orient myself and find some of the cool digs some Holy Cross friends and I found when we were here two Christmases ago. Also, lots of world cup shenanigans going on here, too, as expected, and there's much ado in the old town square, where there's a lot of vendors and a huge plasma screen set up. Well, our first half day here we saw our first tiny bit of rain for the trip, but it cleared up and we saw a gorgeous sunset sinking below the St. Vitus cathedral on the hillside overlooking the Charles Bridge and the Vltava River. A promising start to say the least. Not sure what we're gonna do tomorrow, but it's just great for me being back in my favorite city in Europe. Hope all is well back home.
Cheers,
Matt

Prague
When I was in Prague I noticed that there so many tram over the city. They look little vintage but very comfortable and well equipped in side. There was a tram line not far from hotel in Prague (www.prague-hotels.org.uk/)where I stayed. I really enjoyed watching them, especially in the evenings.
