Short drive today, only about 4 hours. I noticed the Arch from miles out of the city and it's really impressive. Upon seeing it I knew my trip had actually somewhat began (doesn't really begin until Seattle). I pass downtown St. Louis and notice I still have another 28 miles until my hotel. Bad choice. So I go check in and then drive the 30 min back later on to check out the city.  St. Louis is a decent city from what I saw, feels like a bigger more historic Charlotte. I walked down to the arch and it is great up close, lots of tourists taking photos (crasians). It is located in a nice parkway where people were running, walking their dogs, and laying out (it was a warm day almost 80). I took a few pics then noticed a rocky-like stair case near the water, which led to a whole other part of the city. I walked back to the main part of downtown and did a few blocks. I knew there was a Cardinal game that night so I went to see about tickets and such. I got a $19 nosebleeder ticket and walked around the stadium a little bit. I was way early but I figured I could see batting practice and stuff. I then realized I was in a different time zone because of a clock on the stadium so I had to wait an hour. I finally got in and went down to field level and saw the pros up close. Pujols taking bp. Found my seat on the upper, upper, upper deck and enjoyed the game. Good-size crowd, didn't realize how popular the Cards were (35k according to box score). It got really windy up there and chilly saw, plus I was sick of watching fat people eat fatty food so I left mid seventh and headed back. Got my car out of a garage for $7 cash only, thankful I had some. Got lost for about 10 minutes because the gps refused to adjusted then it finally did and I was back in the hotel in no time.
