We left the girls behind and headed to Ko Tao where the three of us went snorkelling in Shark Bay, so-called for obvious reasons!! Dave claims to have spotted a black tip shark but Rob and I saw nothing! Dave and Rob did some diving and I went snorkelling above them. The marine life is notorious here and the visibility was very good, the boys seemed to have a blast and it was weird for me looking down on them and beyond (about 15m). They claim to have seen sting ray amongst many types of fish. I swam in amongst several shoals of fish before being literally attacked by a trigger fish. It came from nowhere and despite kicking it repeatedly with my flippers it kept coming after me - not exactly what I had expected and I was relieved to finally get out the water!!
